- The concept isn't that hard to understand, Ed. Some places are too environmentally important and sensitive to take the chance on energy extraction, at least for now.

- In all of these oil rich, environmentally sensitive states, like LA and AK, it all comes down to the money. In LA, even while the oil was still washing up in the marshes and islands, the local folks were still calling for more offshore drilling.
